Sintering Refractory Ballast - Powdered Graphite
Use: Refractory for firing all Filamet™ materials in a vacuum or inert environment kiln. May be used alone or combined with Al2O3.
Place the print in this refractory, ensuring the entire print and all surfaces are completely covered and any protruding areas are fully supported. The print must be fully surrounded by the refractory. Complete firing instructions
Stainless Steel 316L Filamet™ requires an oxygen-free environment. Copper and Bronze Filamet™ may be fired in an open environment. In this case, use Magic Black Powder to shield the print from oxygen. See chart below.
