The easiest way to go from filament to real copper parts—in one kit. The Copper Filamet™ Print and Sinter Kit is our most beginner-friendly metal printing package, combining everything you need to print and sinter pure copper on any open-architecture FDM printer.

• 0.5kg or 1kg Copper Filamet™ (1.75mm or 2.85mm)

• Filawarmer

• 300mL Alumina Crucible (93mm D x 93mm H)

• 1kg Al2O3

• 0.5kg Magnesium Silicate

• 0.5kg Sintering Carbon

Filament Density:
4.3g/cc – 5.0g/cc

Metal Content:
86.0% – 90.7% copper

Easy Printing Experience:

• Print with a 0.6mm hardened steel, standard flow nozzle

• Prints similar to PLA

• Minimal to no warping

• Ensure the filament feeds straight into the extruder

• Compatible with 3D printing pens

• Less hygroscopic than PLA

  • Do not dry this filament—drying will degrade the binder

❓ Can I print this on my printer?
✅ Filamet™ is compatible with nearly all FFF/FDM based 3D printers on the market. Switch out the nozzle for a 0.6mm hardened steel nozzle and get printing! ❓ What sintering equipment do I need?
✅ You need a kiln capable of reaching at least 1050°C in an inert or reducing atmosphere. The TVF Sintering Kiln, FireX, and FireX Max are all compatible with Copper Filamet™. See our debind and sinter instructions for full profiles.

❓ Why does this kit use Al2O3 and Magnesium Silicate instead of Steel Blend?
✅ Copper requires a different sintering bed media than steel-based materials. Al2O3 and Magnesium Silicate provide the correct support and thermal environment for copper sintering without contaminating the part.

❓ Is this really beginner-friendly?
✅ Yes—Copper Filamet™ is one of our most forgiving materials to print and sinter. It has minimal warping, prints similarly to PLA, and produces beautiful copper results with standard kiln profiles.
