Custom shielding for imaging and nuclear medicine
Hospitals, radiopharmacies and imaging researchers constantly need shielding in shapes nobody stocks: a shield for one syringe, a collimator insert for one instrument, a cover for one awkward fitting. Rapid 3DShield Tungsten lets you print those parts on a standard FFF printer and use them as printed. It is lead-free and needs no sintering.

- Measured density of your printed part. Weigh it and divide by volume, or use our calibration model, which should weigh 5.5 g or more.

Printing
Use a 0.8 mm hardened steel nozzle at standard flow and 100% infill. The material prints similar to PLA. Do not dry it, because drying degrades the binder.
