Derived from 100% Virgin Grade-A Non-Toxic pellets. Manufactured to a tighter than standard tolerance (+/- 0.03mm) you'll experience consistent extrusion throughout the spool.
PLA is most hobbyist makers material of choice for 3D printing. A bio-degradable plastic derived from renewable resources it is one of the easiest materials to print with, with a relatively low melting point and is able to be printed without a heated bed. Printing with PLA is typically odorless, or when it smells gives of a 'sweet' aroma, and emits less harmful fumes than some other 3D printing materials, making it a safer option for enclosed spaces without proper ventilation.

The glue holding the filament spool together is rated for an environment of 70C (158F). If using a filament dryer or require the filament spool by placed in an environment exceeding this temperature, a spool clip is recommended.
